MEET ADAM

My name is Adam and I’m a piano tuner out of Lexington and service pianos throughout  Kentucky. I’ve tuned pianos for celebrities like Bill Gaither as well as prestigious institutions such as Centre College, the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, Kentucky State University, and Asbury University – and dozens of normal folks like me who just love playing the piano.

I pride myself as one of the few tuners with formal academic and professional training in addition to apprenticing under veteran technicians that have worked for Baldwin and Steinway.

I received my B.A. in music from EKU with a minor in piano performance before being accepted to the prestigious North Bennet Street School in Boston, Ma where I studied piano tuning, repairs, and regulation.

While being a pianist isn’t required to be a technician it does make it much easier to know how a piano should feel and play for optimal performance.
